My concept of the importance of Fonts

Kidulthood plays such an important role in UK filming today. Kidulthood often uses urban looking fonts as the one seen in the picture.

This is to break away from the 'typical' formal fonts that are used in other films.

The urban looking fonts mean that the target audience (being the youth) can relate to the film. Thus meaning that these font styles are seen and are automatically relatable to youth drama films.

Hence, we have decided that we will use urban fonts in our film so that our target audience will be able to relate to our film.

The urban fonts will mean that the youth will automatically notice that our film is of the youth drama genre.
